Eric Proctor is a Human Resources and Integrated Marketing Communications (IMC) leader who specializes in all HR centers of excellence, creative strategy, internal brand equity, process improvement, Public Relations, and social media marketing. He has a passion for reaching people through creativity and consistency, and believes measurable results are driven by meaningful relationships. Currently responsible for leading People & Culture Business Transformation at Novant Health, Proctor has worked with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to professional athletes. Prior to joining Novant Health, Proctor served as the Director of HR Strategic Communications and Recruitment at Wake Forest University. Additionally, he has served on Executive Boards, helping develop nonprofit brands across the community, most recently as Board President of the Bethesda Center for the Homeless. He is a Prosci-certified change management practitioner and holds a Master's of Science Degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from the West Virginia University Reed College of Media.

During my term as Board President of the Bethesda Center for the Homeless, I ushered in a rebrand to position the organization for a new generation of philanthropists. Working with the design geniuses at Airtype, I introduced a visual identity that draws inspiration from the healing properties of the Pool of Bethesda.

 
 

Wake Forest University

I provided creative direction for the Human Resources website redesign, incorporating a mobile-optimized interface and turn-page digital guidebook. Additionally, I led a talented team of videographers to produce short films that celebrate the people of Wake Forest.

Swapping press checks for pixels, I helped reimagine the traditional Associate Handbook as an online resource. Additionally, I communicated a comprehensive benefits plan, launched a diversity recruitment campaign, and helped define the organizational values.
